73 and Sunny

Today is a beautiful Friday. It was sunny all day and classes flew by because it is Friday. (Not being sarcastic). Class may very well be the most fun thing I experience all day. I still have yet to move into my apartment because the people living there prior to me took forever to leave. Well the company is cleaning it out and I hope to be in there ASAP. The time I have been at Rae's has been a lot of fun, but mostly I have been living like this:

Or like this:

Miss my silly ol' pal Copper today. I wanna play with him.

I think it was yesterday Rae and I went to Moscow on accident via some dirt roads. Who knows really though? All the days blur into one. I cant believe it is Friday. I did not even get excited this morning because it feels like a Wednesday or something. Here is a picture from said-dirt-road-to-Moscow-experience:
I probably only spent 3 hours today riding around on my bike. I wish I were kidding. I have nothing to do after school because I finish my homework in between my classes. I would say 50% of the time I am riding my bike around. The other 50% I am downtown looking for free WIFI.

It is a simple life. But it is my life.

Rainy Summer Days

Been addicted to Netflix lately. I have lots of time to study throughout the day. So naturally I spend it wasting it.
Before I came back I went kayaking in Seattle: I really want one know b

It rained really hard today. And I took the moped to school so the seat was wet when I came back. That was no fun.
This thing just went for sale on the internet today. They are asking 22,000 dollars for it.

There are two shows that I am watching on netflix. One is called Orange is the new Black. It's about women in jail. Pretty good, a big drama. Not too funny. I am also watching Arrested Development. It's just plain funny.

Classes are going well. Short week since we had Monday off. Have to figure out something to do this weekend.

Ghost Storie

Do/ did you ever sit in class and think of something hilarious and you just sat there like this:

I do it everyday. I must think I am hilarious. Went to my classes today and my butt hurt even worse from the hills and a heavy bike. Talked about a bunch of stuff. Learned about several wacky court rulings.
It was super hot out today. I only wear flip flops these days. I have sunscreen but I am not in the sun for too long of periods. My arms are kind of burnt, I dont really know why. That is the only part of me that is kinda red. Not really even that burnt, mostly freckles.

Coldplay let out their new album yesterday. I have changed the music selection to all of the songs that are a part of the album. I may be the only one who listens to the music, I just leave my blog open and plug in speakers for the win. This is their album cover. Kinda funky:

I have to tell my professors I wont be here on Friday because I am going to Montana to get that whole place started up.

Roslyn

Skipped town on Friday.
Lovely drive from Pullman to Puyallup. Some golden fields.

Saw an old friend in the garage <3

Copper was ready for Roslyn

Ah. I really enjoyed the weekend. Very sunny. Very relaxing.

Rode bike to class today. I knew it would be uphill, but I underestimated how hard it would be. Campus is a huge hill and going up from Rachel's house is hard. I got off my bike and my legs were limp. I almost puked too. I think I may be out of shape. Oops. Couple more days and my young body should be good to go.

Went to class. Today's lecture was about criminal theories regarding I.Q. tests and criminality. I enjoy the topics which bring up child development. This is why I enjoy my 365 class about juvenile justice. The majority of the students in the class are either soc majors or human development majors. It is an option for crmj students, but it sounded good to me and so far I have enjoyed it. I am currently blowing my time in the CUB waiting for that class to begin. It starts at 1:30 so I have a lot of time. I took some reading notes and will probably begin an essay that is due on Friday.

I am going to the apartments today to see if the people who live in my future place have moved out. They told me they were moving out on the 9th of May. But apparently they hadn't moved out yet when I called on the 12th. Hopefully this time they have when I go out there.

Medium Cloudy day. Not sure what else I will do today. But I guess that is a good thing to not have a lot to do.

Shakira

Rachels roommate got a bunnie named Shakira. Just like the latin singer.

Majestic brick. Maybe the WA is for Washington.

Talked about a lot of great things in my classes these past few days. One teacher made a metaphor the life is like a forest. You are a lost person in this forest. The trees are our friends and family and all that we interact with. The way these trees are arranged will guide us in a direction. Positive trees in one direction, and negative trees in another. We, as the lost person, get to follow any of the paths. But we should chose the positive trees because they will help us to become not lost.

Hippies.

Chey is in Puyallup and took Copper for a play date with her dog.

New Life

New life is the theme of the past day and a half. New semester. New chair. New life.

 Before: Moldy and gross

Apart

Getting new color

Winning at life and arts and crafts

Also baby bunnies were found by Rachel when she lifted one of the chairs up. The nest was build under one of the legs.

They are really young. Small if you look at the blades of grass to compare

Oh and they are blind too. <3

Cuddles

I think there are five in there. I could hold all of them in my hand.

A bird tried to get to them yesterday but the mom bunny chased it off.

Ah. First day of classes went well. Huge gap between but I will study in that time. No tests. All participation and essay. I am really looking forward to it.

8 people in my first class

16 people in my second class

Cub

I am currently sitting in the CUB. Just bought my books. My first class, Criminal Theory, seems relatively easy. No tests, a weekly three page paper and a five page final. Seems fine. My next class starts at 1:30. Talk about a huge break. I should go eat here shortly.

509 Beauty

Last night Rae and I were driving back from Moscow and the sun was setting. There is some serious beauty that exists in the Palouse. I am a true lover of the mountain and tree area of the Pacific Northwest, but the sky out here is crazy. The sky has so many colors, and the change in clouds creates a different setting every single day. I pulled off several pictures from my instagram that show some of the skies I thought were interesting. All of these have been taken since I returned from spring break:

Cant remember where this one was taken

On top of Kamiak
From the dorm 2nd floor

Taken from the 12th floor
Same 12th floor
Taken bottom of Kamiak
Out in the Palouse
This is the Cascades but from an airplane
Out near the city of Palouse

I did this from the 12th floor:

Now I am sitting in Rachels room in the dark. Very bored. I have a million movies that Dalton suggests that I watch. Would rather be outside but its 9pm so there is little reason to be out there.

All my friends are gone

Now begins the time of solitude. All of my friends have left.

I have nothing really left to do besides turning in my paper to my Poli sci teacher. I guess now I am really just waiting to move to sista Rachel's.
I have a lot of stuff. Mostly clothes. But I dont have a suitcase so I had to use less space efficient garbage bags to put all my clothes into. I think I am going to store it in a garage? Tomorrow I am getting to the apartment company and I am going to see if they can have me clean my place, or expedite the process.

I had a great time in the dorms this year. Roger's hall was amazing. The group of people I was paired with was awesome. I am glad I got to hangout with them everyday.

Packing

So no one on the floor has moved out yet. But a couple are tomorrow. Including Dalton. I am going to miss that kid. Most people are leaving on Friday or Saturday. My roommate is leaving tonight. He is all packed up. I am mostly packed up. Well I am just condensing my stuff. I have a lot less stuff than most people on the floor. Or I just know how to pack up my stuff a lot better than most of them. I am nearly done with my essay. I have about 4500 words of it done. I have probably another 500 left to put into it. I have my online test tomorrow which should be pretty easy. He curves the test anyways. So I have that mid day tomorrow. Just counting down the hours really now. It has been an awesome semester. I have learned so much. I have really changed into not a procrastinator. I always get my stuff done a lot earlier. I have been doing it wrong during all of my schooling career.
Chey is leaving this Friday. So I will probably help her pack tomorrow night. I guess the next step is moving to Rachel's house for a little while until I can get into the apartment. I believe her and I have some garage sales to visit this weekend so I have something to put in my apartment. I need to also get a summer bus schedule because I have one for the school year but it is different in the summer.
I have also recently increased the amount of food that I have because everyone is giving their food to me since I am staying here and they are going home. That is good for me. Bring on the free stuff.
Pullman is a magical place.

I am almost glad I get to stay for the summer

The Source

As of late, I have become addicted to hot sauce. I have this bottle of Tapatio that I am literally putting on everything. If my mouth isn't burning at the end I didn't put enough on. This reminds me of this hot sauce challenge that the "Dream Team"-- which was just my friends in highschool-- would do. We would take this sauce called The Source and each only take a single drop of it. Of course we had to out do each other, people took two drops, but then someone got stomach ulcers so we capped it at two. Then we would take it and then wait five minutes until we drank milk or water. We were so stupid, but just how hot was that sauce? Lets take a look:

A unit of heat (or hotness from a pepper) is a Scoville unit. So just how hot was this sauce?

0- This is a sweet bell pepper
2,500- this is your average Tabasco sauce
5,000- this is a jalapeno
20,000- this is a serrano pepper
100,000- this is a habanero pepper, which is not fun to eat by itself

Lets jump ahead to the hottest pepper that grows in nature:

1,001,304- the Naga- Bih Jolokia Pepper, ten times hotter than your average habanero

The only way to get hotter tasting things is by using chemicals:

2,000,000- this is your common pepper spray you would use to fight off the bad guys...
2,200,000- this is equal to the venom of the Trinidad Moruga Scorpion, ouch!!
5,300,000- this is police grade pepper spray, riot control spray, just not good stuff

7,100,000- this is The Source Hot Sauce. I have no idea why we would willingly do this to ourselves, especially more than once in a lifetime.

There is no cheap way to get anything hotter than The Source, there are a few chemicals, and then pure capsaicin, which is the purest form of heat, that is about 16,000,000 but it can actually kill a human if eaten, so they dont sell it.

I like spicy food. But would I ever try The Source again?

You bet I would.

Ron Swanson knows heat

Actually cooking with it might be a good idea like in soup or chili. Who knows?

Paper is going well. Discussing the issues in Ukraine. I was thinking Venezuela but Ukraine I have more understanding of. only about 4000 more words to go. I dont even know actually, the length of this essay is pretty ridiculous.

One Year

DOUBLE POST: Oh side note that really only I care about. Last weekend was the annual PNW Springmeet show. I attended last year but  obviously I was in Pullman this year. I have these photos which literally are taken nearly a year apart.

Here I am in the show last year. Nice and shiny. Clear turn signals. All decked out in show attire.

Here she is this year after I pulled her out from under a tarp. Dirty and all sanded. Orange turn signals.

I post this mostly for me. And a year can do damage to a car. :)

The Cloud

The cloud gets an golden star if you ask me. It auto saves your work. You can access it from any device. It is beautiful.  Its so beautiful when I started utilizing it I feel like these kids:

Who knows what this is. I dont want to know.

I am about to call dell and see if I can get myself a new computer. This is the verdict, I am tired of my hard drives crashing. I am literally about to pull a Ron Swanson:

The time has come to probably start to clean up the room and pack it up and put it back to it's original state.
Spring Semester is down to the last week. Time is really flying by. Luckily I got about a 1000 words of my essay done today. I am looking forward to the next couple weeks. I get to hangout and live, but hopefully only for a little bit, with my lovely oldest sister. Then I can move into my apartment.

Coldplay just let out another single from their album which comes out in 15 days.
Sky full of Stars.
I added that to the music bar. (its down below if u never can find)
I love my girly alternative rock music taste.

Enjoy your Monday everyone if you read this tomorrow. Apparently if you subscribe to this blog you get email updates at 1 am.

2/3

I am nearly two thirds done with my essays for the week.

Only two more things to do. I have no idea how I am going to type a 15 page paper about foreign policy. Someone help me.

In the midst of my essays, I have become addicted to Parks and Recreation.
Food rations have become unstably low. I have two thousand Crystal Light lemonade thingys, half a loaf of bread, a cool-aid singles packet, tapatio hot sauce, mac and cheese, peanut butter and jam. I will survive, but only just.

I am probably going to put our room back to the original orientation this weekend. Hopefully it will be cleaner too. I kept my room very clean this year, well, at least I kept my half of the room clean this year. I guess I am more OCD than I thought I was about cleaning. Its hard though, because the room is so small, if you dont keep it clean it looks like a bomb went off.

I have been taking pictures these past few days but have neglected to upload them seeing as how I have no computer to put them on.

We got icecream at Ferdinands

Essays for Days

Well class is done. The sun is shining, all that is left is two essays and a test.
The essay I am currently pounding away on an essay that is about all the injustices that the criminal justice system has done to prisoners and minorities. 2500 words or more. I am already a thousand word in about a half hour. How I am doing it so fast is blowing my mind. I think it may be because I am writing it in the cloud. What is the cloud? The cloud is a magical place where all my important documents are stored online because I can never again trust hard drives. The cloud has an online version of Microsoft word that doesn't show where a page starts or ends. I have no idea how many pages it is so I am not trying to write X amount of pages when typing. Its a psychological thing but it is real. So this essay is going well. There is so much information I could put in it that I don't need to filibuster my own essay like I usually would.

Me writing essays usually:

Everything is going well. Will probably try to go for an ice cream break here rather shortly. Just because  I can.

Priorities. In college they seem to change faster than the Cougs blew in their bowl game this year.

Yesterday I played frisbee out of the front lawn and ate it coming down the hill. My legs went above my head. Yeah, thats nearly ragdoll status there.
